At the meeting, the following was discussed:

After some discussion, the following resolution was passed unanimously by the Board:

  1. SPARC members are also our friends; we bear no malice towards them and we are vitally interested in seeing this issue resolved.
  2. RAM will work with SPARC on this issue and will fix or repair any deficiencies in RAM equipment.
  3. SPARC was invited to conduct tests along with RAM. This unfulfilled invitation continues to be open.
  4. We believe, as a result of RAM-performed tests, that the difficulties SPARC is experiencing is due to deficiencies in SPARC equipment.
  5. RAM is not beholden to SPARC in any way. Neither we, nor our communications, is less important and we have no obligation to resolve this issue except on a technical basis. We have advised our members to use the RAM repeater as desired and to ignore peer pressure otherwise.
